Expecting a strong gallop with Ten Arion and Sekitei Vivi taking up the running over Chrome Boy. TEN ARION (1) sets the benchmark after consecutive seconds at Mombetsu, beaten half a length then just under a length, and her established 1000m record here gives her the most reliable profile despite again needing to convert favouritism into a win. SEKITEI VIVI (5) is the main danger, having led and been pipped by Max Isle last start after a third behind Queen's Viola, and the Genta Ochiai-Hiroyuki Oguni combination adds further strength to her case. OHAMACHAN (12) brings a different form shape, charging home for third behind Max Isle and staying on 52kg, although her maiden record keeps a small query on the winning edge. RIPE TRAUM (4) has been finishing from too far back, but his last two fifths both had merit through the line, making him a sound place and exotics chance rather than the most likely winner.
