Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Mizuno Miyako. MIZUNO MIYAKO (7) brings the most intriguing profile, dropping back from a 3yo+ ALLOW at Niigata where she was ninth, beaten six and a half lengths, after a solid Morioka second over 1700m. The two-month gap and return to 1400m are the queries, but this looks a more suitable assignment. REAL KENCHAN (6) is the proven Kasamatsu runner, coming off consecutive wins here, including a nose success from Yamanin Elphaba, and his track-and-distance record gives him a very reliable base. PENTHOUSE (2) was beaten six lengths as favourite last start but has two wins and one place from five starts at this track and distance, so he remains a genuine place-to-winning hope if sharper. KASANARU KISEKI (3) must rebound from a 21-length defeat, yet her earlier track form and winning rider angle keep her in the mix for the minors.

KYOICHI ITO 3YO DK B COLT 57.0KG Reiko Hara Has been safely held at Nagoya in his last two runs, finishing last behind Ardent Eye last start when beaten over 19 lengths at big odds. The start prior was not much stronger, with a tenth behind Zenno Zondag after offering little when asked. The class drop gives him some context, but he is still a maiden from eleven starts and unplaced in three tries at this distance, so he needs a marked turnaround. |

His previous run over 1580m was plain, finishing sixth and well held behind Serval Mind after racing prominently. The stronger case is his Kasamatsu 1400m record, with two wins and one place from five starts, which keeps him a genuine place chance despite the beaten-favourite query. |

Two back she led before finishing fifth, beaten just over eight lengths by Tsumamigui. The positives are her prior track-and-distance credentials and the rider having won on her, but she has to bounce back sharply to turn those assets into a serious result. |

Her 24-start maiden record is the central knock, although six placings from 15 at this track and distance give her a minor-money profile only. |

With no wins from 24 starts and unplaced in 13 attempts at this track and distance, she faces a demanding task. |

Two wins and two places from four starts at this track and distance is a strong platform, and another clean performance should put him right in the race again. |

She is still a maiden, but third-up in this easier 3yo COND, she has enough depth to be one of the main chances if the 1400m suits. |

A placing from four starts at this track and distance is some support, but he is winless from eleven and needs to finish off better fresh. |
