TAISEI ADAMAS (1) sets the standard after an authoritative Mizusawa win, scoring by two and a half lengths as a short odds-on favourite after a solid second to Asterope the run before. His track-and-trip record and strong association with Ryo Takamatsu give him the clearest profile. FUKU TAOYUAN (9) is the main danger, coming off a determined half-length win over Dona Aphrodite and now has confidence back, though he still has a distance query to answer. GOD VALLEY (6) has been costly as favourite at Morioka Dirt but drops out of 3yo+ C1 form and his fourth to Pure Makena reads well enough for this. EYES (5) disappointed as favourite here, yet his previous 3yo+ B2 run at Ohi gives him a placing platform if he improves sharply.
