BELLAGIO HOME RUN (2) clearly brings the strongest recent profile, having placed in two of three starts at Kasamatsu and going closest when second to Nine Symphony over 1400m, beaten a length and a half, after being prominent in the betting. The drop to 800m is the one point to prove, but her consistency gives her the race's most reliable base. EL DJEM (4) is harder to read: her debut third behind Peace Blossom was good enough for this, and she has placed once from one start at the distance, but the latest run was a heavy defeat after conceding far too much ground. SHIBA FUJI (1) comes through the same Nine Symphony race as Bellagio Home Run and did grind into third, though the seven-and-a-half-length margin keeps him more in the place mix. FEUZ (6) has a small case on his fourth to Kick Out two back, but the tailed-off latest effort means he needs a sharp rebound to win.
