JUN PRIMERO (3) comes through stronger-looking 3yo+ ALLOW form, beaten just over two lengths at Chukyo over 2200m, and the class drop gives him a clear case, though coming back to 2000m is the main reservation. COCOLI ISLAND (11) has been consistent around this course and distance without winning it, and the lighter weight keeps him firmly in calculations despite having been beaten by Miami Matsuri last time. MIAMI MATSURI (5) must rebound from a heavy Kawasaki defeat, but his previous two-length Urawa win over Meisho Fuso is good enough to keep him in the mix.
