He has placed in all three starts at Mombetsu, including a third behind Star Of Vase when near the top of betting, and his two placings from two tries at the distance read well for this 2yo COND. COLOR WHEEL (1) is the main danger if he rebounds from a plain fifth behind A Shin Bliss, where he was beaten over 11 lengths without a clear excuse. His prior second to Bellagio Palooza was much better and he has placed twice from four starts here at the trip. LA VIE ART (2) needs to lift off a moderate sixth behind Alphonsina, but her third to Livermore Zan two back keeps her in the mix. OKANO MEMORY (4) was disappointing last start, yet her previous second behind A Shin Bliss, when she finished ahead of Color Wheel, gives her a genuine place-and-upset profile.
