SCHNEE DREAM (3) sets the standard after back-to-back wins, the latest a five-length 3yo C1 success at Mizusawa when heavily supported into very short odds-on territory. She has also won at this distance and is unbeaten in two starts with Yu Suzuki, so the recent profile is compelling. KING SPADE (4) is the danger on best form, with two wins this season and an excellent record with Ryo Takamatsu, but he must rebound after finishing last as a prohibitive odds-on favourite at Morioka Dirt. SHOOT THE MOON (7) has the right track profile and comes off a clear second to Taisei Gosh here, making him a genuine threat if he holds that level. SISTER BLACK (1) is more of a place hope: her Morioka Dirt win two back keeps her in calculations, but her last-start Mizusawa failure is hard to ignore.
