ICHIMOKUSAN (9) sets the standard after turning consistent Urawa form into a narrow last-start win, beating Tosen Style by a head and keeping Haruto Nakayama, with whom he has never missed a place from three rides. WORLD BATTLE (10) looks the main danger on overall substance: he was only half a length away two back and his Urawa 1500m record gives him a strong grounding, though he was beaten six lengths as a well-fancied runner last time. WHITE ASH (4) needs to rebound from a below-par seventh, but his previous third behind Paradise Beat keeps him firmly in calculations. K T YUI (6) is the next most reliable option, having kept on fairly here last start and bringing proven Urawa form, although she profiles more as a place threat than the top pair.
