SERVAL MIND (8) sets the standard on recent evidence after successive Kasamatsu wins, the latest by seven lengths at very short odds, and his record at the track and trip gives that form a solid base. SEIKA YUHI (3) is the main danger if he repeats his latest effort, having finished second here over 1400m when beaten just under a length after picking up strongly; the rise in distance is the one point he still has to answer. GRAND CHAMP (4) brings less attractive recent figures, but his Chukyo 3yo Maiden runs read differently back in this company and he is now third-up. KEN BRIDGE LOS (1) is honest, race fit and regularly around the placings, with three track-and-distance placings from five attempts. She looks a reliable minor-money chance, though she must find more dash to turn recent thirds into a win.

The distance record offers some support, though she needs a cleaner, stronger performance to trouble the better hopes. |

That was a sharp turnaround from his Sapporo 3yo Maiden run when last at big odds over 1200m after conceding a huge start. He remains winless from 18 starts and rises in trip, but the latest run makes him a genuine winning threat. |

Returns from a five-week let-up after finishing tenth in a Chukyo 3yo Maiden over 2200m, beaten nine lengths by Lloyd Webber after settling rearward at long odds. His previous run was also plain when ninth on Chukyo Dirt over 1800m, beaten over 15 lengths by Air Alcina. The drop back to this company and third-up timing help, but recent margins keep him in the place bracket rather than higher. |

The rise to 1580m is still a query and her past 12 months read poorly, so she has to build again before becoming a serious betting option. |

His earlier third behind Bellagio Phantom was much stronger, beaten just under two lengths when well found in betting. The overall Kasamatsu record is sound, but he is unplaced at the distance and needs to return sharper. |

He is two wins and two places from four starts at this track and has already won at the distance, so the exposed form makes him the runner they all have to reach. |
