GOING: G(4)

BATEMANS BAY SOLDIERS CLUB BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1010m

Track: Good 4   Clouds (Max: 26)   Rail: True.

Cracking tempo with Girls Weekend and Oakeys Choice leading the way. GIRLS WEEKEND (7) showed good improvement last start at Nowra when leading the field before succumbing to the pressure late, beaten 1.7L. Blinkers go on now third-up with Buckley remaining in the saddle. The form out of her last start has been good and she'll be hard to run down from the inside draw. ROYAL MEMORY (8) was very good here fresh before she didn't take part most recently, beaten a long way. Been back to the trials since where she was good and she has the speed to offset the sticky gate. Fresh run suggested she was back in good order and she can get her campaign back on track. WINNING EMOTIONS (6) ended last campaign in Highway company after a CL1 win at Warren three back. Unsure where he lands on the map but he's good enough if on song fresh. CHRISTMAS STAR (5) is racing well and has to be included on recent efforts. MISS TORONADO (4) can improve on a disappointing first-up effort. SUGGESTED PLAY: Girls Weekend gets her chance.
