Blue Spada has the pace to lead in what is likely to be a moderate tempo. MORONO KAGAYAKI (3) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 0.6 lengths from the winner in third over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Will be very hard to beat with that run under the belt. G T BLACK (11) stepped out on his debut over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt three weeks ago and finished fifth, beaten 1.4 lengths. Should progress this time and is expected to feature. BOMBON BABY (9) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt, beaten 7 lengths into ninth. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. TAKERU MUSASHI (5) closed last prep nine weeks ago when he finished sixth over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. One of the key contenders.
