Eligius, Stewart and Jethro Tull can set a strong tempo. ELIGIUS (3) only beat a 4-horse field at Tauranga last start, but did it easily and had plenty left in hand at the finish. There is more depth to this field, but he has the scope to go right on with the job. STEWART (2) finished runner-up as favourite at Otaki 2 weeks ago and won his maiden by over 6 lengths at Hawera before that. He benefits from a 2kg claim and will make this race very interesting. Follow your money. JETHRO TULL (5) fought on bravely for second as favourite here 5 weeks ago and gave a great sight in front on this track when finishing third before that. He could take some pegging back again. SOCIAL CLIMBER (6) was only beaten by a head here a fortnight ago, and will be peaking her fitness third up from a spell. She also has winning claims in this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Plenty of chances and a nice price could be had about Social Climber.
