Without an obvious leader, it may be left to Lys Noir, Amor Fati and Palmanova to control the tempo. PALMANOVA (7) used the low draw last time and bounced straight to the lead, turning in front before fading to finish fifth here. Should be tough to rein in. LYS NOIR (5) looks to be edging towards a win, the latest effort an encouraging third at this. Nicely placed to take this out. SUNRISE GREAT (2) finished fifth in a 1400m contest at this track three weeks ago. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. FUKU MIAOLI (8) is a 28-start maiden who returned last time and finished ninth. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
