Has not been produced since he got the prize over 1600m at Tokyo on November 24. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will give a great sight. OTOKOGI AMPAN (4) returns from a layoff of 12 weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1600m at Kyoto. Has ability and should be right in the finish. CHERNOBOG (2) ran below expectations when fresh from a spell at Niigata over 1600m last time, finishing seventh and beaten 5 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Nicely placed to make amends. RED BELLE AME (3) turned in another moderate effort last start when 7 lengths from the winner in 11th over 1600m at Hanshin. Well placed to turn things around.
