Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Ella May. SIENA WOLF (10) probably should have finished closer when fourth last time out on the Devonport poly track 3 weeks ago. She drops back from a mile to 1400m, which will do her no harm, and with the benefit of a 1.5kg claim, she should go close to taking this out. SKELMORLIE (12) missed the kick last time out, which probably cost her a top 3 finish 3 weeks ago at Devonport on the poly track there. Stick with her on an each-way basis. Follow your money. BELLA CHINKARA (14) has been placed in all 4 starts this prep and was only beaten by a head at Hobart last week. If this race has not come too soon for her, then she can figure in the top 3.
