Strong tempo with Puro Magic, Scorpion and Shillong leading the way. PURO MAGIC (6) turned in a fair effort in the G1 Al Quoz Sprint at Meydan over 1200m at her last run four months ago, finishing fifth and beaten 2.75 lengths. Has ability and should be right in the finish. T M SPADA (13) won at this track and distance at her last outing ten weeks ago, the only appearance of that campaign. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Will prove tough to beat. MOZU MEIMEI (18) failed to threaten when fresh from a spell last time out, beaten 7 lengths into 15th over 1200m in the G3 Kitakyushu Kinen at Kokura. Best form augers well for this. CARRO VELOCE (16) was an impressive first-up winner last time out in an easier race over 1200m at Fukushima, getting home by a neck. Will be better for that latest run and is worth including.
