Despite the small field Kireina Marubrah, Doonican and Kay Oh Ell can set a strong tempo. KIREINA MARUBRAH (6) has been heading in the right direction on the Devonport poly track this prep, and her record on the turf surface is probably stronger. She has been crying out for more ground, and as long as the track is not too wet, then she can take this out. TAHITIAN WARRIOR (5) has been building up his fitness on the poly track, and he has a far better record on the turf. He will be well seasoned now and is ready to put his best hoof forward. Each way value. ROWING POWER (4) has won his only start over this journey, and should secure the run of the race or lead from the pole position. He is peaking at the right time, and would not be a shock winner. STEEL MIST (3) is an honest veteran backing up quickly from his fourth at Hobart last week. Include in all multiples. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rowing Power to turn his form around at some each-way value.
