Cracking tempo with Kurino Hallelujah and La Jolla Storm leading the way. VENT VIVE (9) hasn't been far away lately, last time out finishing just 2.5 lengths back in fourth over 1200m at Hakodate. Goes well at this trip, recording three minor placings and is a key runner. EVAN SWEET (11) fought on for second last start over 1200m at Hakodate, making it two minor placings in a row. Awkwardly drawn and might need a little luck early. Well placed this line-up and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. GOLD STAR (8) resumes today after filling a minor placing at his only appearance last prep at Niigata over 1200m on May 24. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Will give backers a great sight. MEIKEI BURTON (10) is back after a break of ten weeks. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1400m at Tokyo. Has to be respected.
