Strong tempo with Lovin' Bev and Sushi Express leading the way over Fast Thinker.
JUST CRUISIN' (7) has been patiently handled and was an impressive Hobart winner fresh up 6 weeks ago over 1200m. Since then, he has won another trial at Longford, and on raw talent, he is the one to beat again. MOORLANDS MISS (13) has needed both of her runs back from a spell, and she has won third up in the past. She cops a wide gate, but is ready to put her best hoof forward in this. LOVIN' BEV (3) is a talented mare resuming from a spell with a pair of trial wins under her belt. A wide gate is no help, but with the aid of a 2kg claim, she cannot be ruled out of a top 3 finish. ASVA (1) is an honest gelding with a terrific record on this course, including 4 wins. He has not won fresh up in the past, but with 4 placings from 6 starts when presented in this condition, he is more than capable of figuring in the finish. LE DERRIERE (8) ran on gamely for fifth fresh up and has Craig Hewitt replacing an apprentice second up. Include in all combinations to be safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Just Cruisin' could be just too good again.
