Genuine tempo from Kentucky Blue leading Mercian Hymn. KENTUCKY BLUE (1) was in good form prior to a disappointing effort at this track and trip last start. With the big weight allocated again, Riordan's 3kg claim comes in handy. Happy to overlook one poor effort and she's expected to bounce back to his best. UNI QUEEN (2) is another who dipped in her form last start after a good performance here two starts ago. That was on the quick turnaround like she's on today and while the draw is sticky, she's likely to be in the finish. COMMANDO MISS (6) has been in the placings her past two starts, finishing third over 1406m at Roebourne last time out. She just missed here two starts ago and should get her chance again from an inside barrier. ROCKING THE MERC (4) should be nearing his peak now and won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kentucky Blue can bounce back.
