He showed good speed before getting outrun. If not too green around the turn, he can go one better. THAT'LL B THE DAY (1) was disappointing over this distance at Scottsville last time. His penultimate run when second over 1100m catches the eye. The gelding may have done the trick and he is one of the leading chances. TROIS SEPT HUIT (8) is an unraced son of Rafeef from the Lucinda Woodruff stable with Sean Veale in the saddle. If not in need of the run, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances. COCCOLINA (5) is on debut and is a daughter of Querari from the Peter Muscutt stable with Serino Moodley riding. If not too green in the running can place.
