Agnete, Turf Puzzle and Mandate all possess good speed. THELMA (5) had won 3 trials on the bounce before producing a couple of modest efforts at Hobart to start this campaign. All of her best form has been on this circuit, and with the blinkers on to sharpen her up, a form reversal is on the cards. HOAX (7) has not been so effective in her last couple of starts after making an encouraging return to the track on the Ballarat poly track in May. She will be a lot sharper in her second start back with her original trainer, and she has won the only time she visited this course. Stick with her. CREATIVE LICENCE (8) did not flatter fresh up but is better than that. He normally improves with racing and can get some of this. AGNETE (6) is fresh up over a trip short of her best. Watch for her late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Thelma could offer some each-way value here.
