Exaggeration and Papa Surf are both expected to press forward and take it up. EXAGGERATION (3) won his maiden here very impressively and then was surprisingly beaten by a head on this track 17 days ago. He has a handy gate and should set the record straight here. On top. COLONEL WARDEN (2) failed to flatter again a better field at Cambridge just over 3 weeks ago. He was a big winner here before that, and will have the services of Opie Bosson this time. He is the main threat to the top pick. ARDEE BOY (1) was beaten by a wide draw here a month ago over 1200m and should now be ready to cope with an extra furlong. A better draw should see him settle closer to the pace, and he can make amends. Each way. RIDE THE TIDE (4) is a lightly tried veteran who has been freshened up and changed stables since his last start over 2100m here just over 6 weeks ago. He has the pole position and could run into a placing late in the race. PAPA SURF (5) set the pace here last month and was only claimed late after giving a good kick in the home straight. Stick with him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Exaggeration should find his winning groove again.
