A distinct absence of early speed so don't expect any records to be broken.
REFLECT (10) was restrained in the early stages then let down impressively in the straight to get up for third when resuming over this distance at Rosehill last start. Huge class drop today. Might be ridden more aggressively from gate one and should take care of this lot. CROWN THE KING (2) raced handy and fought on well for third when fresh from a spell over this trip at Gosford last time out. That was his first run as a gelding so more is expected this time in work. FIERCENESS (3) dug deep to get up for third when resuming over 1000m at Kembla recently. Lightly raced colt who is a chance out to this more suitable journey. CHARKA (6) has made late inroads and not been beaten far in two runs this prep, both over 1000m. Can make further progress over an extra furlong. ANARCHIST (12) was in the market in the Listed Lonhro Plate at his only appearance in February. Led but dropped out on that occasion. Expect a bit more in this easier contest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Reflect.
