Funade or Cafe Alloro to lead the small field. SADAMU OPSIS (1) returns from a break of 11 weeks. Was going well at the back end of last prep with placings at his last three starts, the latest at this course and distance. Generally goes well here. Expected to take this. NIGHT SLUGGER (3) wound up strongly only to just miss when fresh from a spell last start over 2000m at Kokura. Should tighten right up following that outing. In the right race and is a key runner. FUNADE (4) went to the paddock after scoring at his last appearance 11 months ago over 2000m at Nakayama. Definite top-three chance. MARSHALL POINT (2) was never really a threat when resuming last start over 2000m at Fukushima, finishing 18 lengths from the winner in eighth. Should run well.
