Tactical given the lack of speed.
ZELJKO (8) made it four minor placings from as many appearances when she raced handy and boxed on okay for third over the mile at Kembla last start. Best figure in three runs this prep was on a soft track two back. Looks ready to grab a well-deserved win. MOUNTAIN QUEEN (9) copped a nasty check early on and didn't really recover when favourite last time out over this distance at Gosford. Lightly raced filly with plenty of improvement to come. THE CRISTAL (7) returned in good order last start over 1500m at Hawkesbury, making good late inroads to get up for second. Inexperienced mare who will take a lot from that hit-out and looks a serious contender. HOT LUCI (4) appreciated the step up in distance when runner-up over the mile here recently. Very fit now and should be prominent for a long way. MY GREEK GOD (2) showed ability when last in work and is worth some thought despite coming off a 190-day break. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Zeljko.
