Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Pikanchi Flower. PIKANCHI FLOWER (2) was well fancied last start at the second run back from a break and was in the placings again, finishing second over 1400m at Mizusawa. Fitter and should be in the finish. ALL NIPPON (6) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win last start by a neck over 1400m at this track. Facing a tougher assignment but she is capable of running a bold race. SMILE PLUS (4) really dug deep to score by 1.5 lengths three runs back at Mizusawa before filling a minor placing at her last two starts. Toshiya Yamamoto who has scored on her two times retains the mount. Should be involved in the finish. SNOW MIX (1) ran below expectations last time at Kanazawa, finishing eighth. Well placed to make amends.
