Comes here deep into his prep after doing his best work late in a similar contest when fourth over 1400m at Moree. Maps well and has genuine top three claims. UNREAL EXPECTATION (1) exciting gelding who got off the mark at start three with a tenacious win over 1400m at Bathurst. Regular rider hops back on and expected to go on with it now. GREEN PINEAPPLE (10) only the one win from thirteen starts and finally drawn a decent gate. Returned good closing figures when a slashing third over 1300m at Bathurst. Only has to hold that form to take this out. A BOY NAMED SOO (7) bounced back to form last start on a heavy deck, which he's faced with again today. Can run a cheeky race. SUGGESTED PLAY: Just On Fire in a tough race.
