SUNNY OCEAN (7) wasn't far from the placegetters when resuming from a layoff last start, beaten 0.9 lengths into fourth in a maiden steeplechase (2750m) at Fukushima. Key runner - don't underestimate. LUDOVICUS (1) is going over the jumps for the first time. Finished 15 lengths away 11th at the latest appearance on the flat over 2400m at Tokyo. Sure to be well-schooled and is going to be hard to beat. GOTTLIEB (8) wasn't far from the placegetters when resuming from a layoff last start, beaten 2.25 lengths into fifth in a maiden steeplechase (2750m) at Fukushima. Decent chance in this line-up.
