Keen speed battle, with Okami Star, Danish Prince and Sunset Park prominent.
On-pacer OKAMI STAR (9) tackled the $80k Grafton Guineas last start and did a good job to hold on for third after doing a bit of work early. Nicely placed at this level and 56kgs after Osmond's claim looks generous. Should be right there at the finish. HOW MUCH BETTER (1) looked to have his chance last time out at this track and distance but was a bit feeble in the dying stages. Generally races well here so on a ten-day back-up he deserves another chance. NOISES (2) was steady through the line without threatening first-up over 1500m at Hawkesbury. Has only been this deep into a prep once before and it saw the best in her. Should have plenty to offer. TOM CRUISING (11) opened this prep with a couple of nice efforts but was poor at Newcastle last time. Can bounce back. SPANDEX (7) is going well this prep against lesser opposition. Likes getting the toe in and looks ready to raise the bar. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Okami Star to close the program.
