Plenty of pace with My Best Dancer and Vip Dylan up front, pressured by Taisei Fiore and Bouvo. TAISEI FIORE (13) resumed from a spell last start with a sound second over 1800m at Kokura. Suitably placed to crack the maiden win. VIP DYLAN (2) started at $3.80 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 2.5 lengths at Hanshin over 1600m. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. BLUE BRAVE (16) wasn't far away in two runs during her maiden prep, the latest a fourth over 1600m at Nakayama 11 months ago. Drawn out a little but looks ready for a bright return. THIPTARA (14) is a three-year-old colt on debut. From an elite family that includes two Grade 1 winners, being by Dubawi from the stakes winner Meow. Comes from a stable which has an impressive strike rate with the first-starters. Has the right credentials to make a bright start to his career despite a difficult draw.
