Good early pressure with Doonican or I'm Chev likely to take up the running. SISTER ROYAL (9) switched from a Victorian stable and improved sharply winning here before repeating the dose at Hobart, also over 1400m. She's been freshened and kept up to the mark with a Longford trial win. With average luck in the run, she can go on with the job. AGNETE (3) has been within range her last two on the synthetic and has better figures on turf and over the mile. Has a handy 2kg claim and can get into the finish. EXALTED CROWN (5) led and was narrowly beaten in stronger on the synthetic. Uses the rial and will be in the finish if she brings the form to the grass. I'M CHEV (4) has a wide barrier but will push forward and can't be ruled out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Sister Royal.
