Looking to emulate his win at this track at the beginning of last prep. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. KING NO JO (10) is a handy type who resumes after a break of 12 weeks. At his last appearance he finished seventh over 2000m at Kokura, beaten 7 lengths. Has a strong record at this course, scoring two times from four starts. Right in this. MIKKI GOLD (8) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Kokura but raced below expectations last time over 2400m at Hanshin, finishing tenth and beaten 6 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. YUKIWARIZAKURA (17) resumes. Wasn't far away at the only run last time in work, finishing sixth over 2000m at this track ten weeks ago. Goes well at this journey with two wins and two placings from six starts and has solid claims.
