The feature race on the card, the $1 million The Archer. YELLOW BRICK (6) resumes here but has a solid first-up record with four wins and four placings from 11 attempts. Has tuned up for this with two strong trial wins and maps ideally for this from gate seven. Looks the one they all have to run down. THE INFLICTOR (7) just missed the frame at Group 3 level when resuming and is sure to have come on with that run now under the belt. Drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and is expected to play a major role. ROTHFIRE (2) brings a bit of class to the table and trust that Heathcote has him ready to go first-up. Don't discount lightly. HERE TO SHOCK (1) has been competing in tougher Group company of late and should appreciate the drop back in grade here. Top-three candidate on best figures.
