MADEMOISELLE ASK (4) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when third over 2000m at Chukyo when she was handy all the way. Won maiden here at only other try. Closing in on a win. MIENO FAIRY (7) is back from a break of 11 weeks. Raced below par at her only appearance last prep when sixth over 1600m at Tokyo. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will prove hard to hold out. MEINER ARES (6) has been kept fresh for this since a disappointing sixth last start over 2000m at Chukyo five weeks ago. Should park just off the speed. Sure to be competitive. SATONO CHARLENE (9) is a progressive four-year-old filly who resumes from a break of ten months, her last appearance being a win over 1800m at Fukushima at her only run of that campaign. Has won when fresh from a spell in the past. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Not to be discounted.
