Not much early pace and doubt they will go hard. THOR'S ANGEL (7) ticks plenty of boxes here on the quick turnaround after a 4L defeat over the mile most recently. She's drawn to get every chance out to this trip for the first time which looks to suit. She brings in the strongest formlines and is the one to beat. MACHO ARQUERO (1) is a 26-start maiden but rates highly on his recent efforts over similar distances. Up to 2200m now, but he draws a gate and is among horses of a similar level. Can notch up his maiden in this suitable event. OBSCENTINO (2) rises in trip again today and was narrowly beaten in a 2000m maiden at Pinjarra back in March. He's been around the mark since and his early speed will see him in this event for a very long way. CABRERA (8) was no match for the winner but she was best of the rest at Narrogin 10 days ago. Keep safe. ALASKAN NUGGET (6) is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Thor's Angel can score her maiden win.
