GOING: S(5)

JACKSON ST BAR 2050m

Track: SOFT 5     True

Vincero should lead and control the tempo. HEZA MONTY (1) resumed with a big finish for second at Waverley just over 3 weeks ago, and the extra 400m will suit him right down to the ground here. He is stronger this year, and he is set to go one better here. UNUSUAL NUGGET (6) has been a slow-maturing type, who will be resuming from a long spell. His trial form has been strong, and in a modest field, he should make his presence felt. Check the market moves. BILLY (2) got going late to run into second on a heavy track at Whanganui 15 days ago, and he will only improve with more racing. In similar heavy ground, he will give another good performance. Each way. TURFQUAKE (4) finished third as a warm favourite at Waverley over 1600m fresh up, and he should relish getting out over more ground. Follow your money. DANCING FANTAIL (3) is capable of winning a race this year, and he should be among the hardest to beat in this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Unusual Nugget each way.
