POULSEN (2) turned in a good effort last start in Listed class and can build on that performance. ESCALE (7) missed the frame but wound up strongly when resuming last start over 1200m in Listed grade at Nakayama Dirt but wasn't all that far from the winner. Races well when second-up. Right in the mix. YUKIMARU (10) finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt, beaten 2.25 lengths. Should take a lot from that hit-out. Worth plenty of thought.
