The race lacks early speed so doubt they will go too hard. THEATRICAL QUEEN (11) impressed in her brief maiden preparation, and resumed over 1000m at Cranbourne, beaten 1.5 lengths into second as a $2.4F. Ran into it well, and the longer sprint is sure to suit. Has the inside barrier and can go one better. EXPANDING POWER (5) creates plenty of interest on resumption. Couldn't have been more impressive placing at Moe on debut before racing favourite at Sandown- Hillside, where post-race he was found to have an issue. Resumes with three sharp jumpouts under the saddle and will be naturally improved. PROFILE (10) placed at Gosford on debut for James Cummings and didn't have much luck resuming at Seymour for the Hayes yard as a $2.50F. He'd prepared well for that and maps for the run of the race. Has a handy 2kg claim, and quick improvement is on the cards. NIELSEN PARK (4) resumes and placed in a recent Cranbourne jumpout. Raced new heavily bet his last two. Has the outside gate, but the blinkers are back on. SUGGESTED PLAY: Theatrical Queen appeals most.
