Plenty of pace evident with Anything But and Stella Cantante leading the way from Count Of Toulouse and Bit Of Shoosh. COUNT OF TOULOUSE (3) presents off a neck defeat over 1600m at Cranbourne, where he didn't have the best ride. Has an inside gate and Radley's 2kg claim today. The extra metres shouldn't bother her, and she's ready to win again. BIT OF SHOOSH (2) improved at Mornington before delivering an easy win at Kilmore over 1600m, as a firm favourite. Jumps from an awkward gate but keeps Rawiller, and it's hard to risk the Hayes yard. GRAND SAGE (5) went close here at big odds but proved that it was no fluke when winning this grade/trip at the track under a 4kg apprentice. She claims 3kg today, but has to manage the outside gate. Has the numbers to feature with some luck in the run. ACHETER (7) raced as the favourite over 1500m at Mornington and was held up rounding the home turn and couldn't be tested. Recorded a tidy win prior, and maps for the run of the race. Has to be considered as well. HOTINHERRE (8) will be fitter and is sure to improve out to this distance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Count Of Toulouse.
