G T ENGINE (1) has missed the frame at his last couple of outings, the latest when eighth over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt. Tackles a far easier assignment and is expected to feature. STEEL CANNON (10) returns after a spell of three months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1200m at this track. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. OJI (3) started at $9.50 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 12 lengths at this track over 1700m. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. RYUJIMMARU (8) finished 13th over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt at his most recent appearance on January 19. One to consider.
