Whistling Spirit should find the front with Red Mile and Epic Flash on his heels. WHISTLING SPIRIT (5) led and improved sharply beaten a whisker this here this trip on the course proper. He has a handy 2kg claim today and can control the race from the inside gate. WATERMELON (11) is much better than the form line suggests. He wasn't far away at Ipswich last time back in trip and should be better for it. Races on pace and will run it right out. RED MILE (3) has excuses at Doomben but was quickly back on track, narrowly beaten in the Whistling Spirit race. He has to manage a wide gate, but is ready to win. GOT YOURSELF A GUN (6) is stepping out at this course for the first time. Last appeared when he finished third over 1600m at Sunshine Coast Poly on March 30. Can give this a shake.
