Almost Even to take charge ahead of Arctic Bear at a good tempo. ARCTIC BEAR (3) resumed from a spell and got the job done as expected by nearly a length on this track 4 weeks ago. He steps up to a mile and from a handy draw, he will take some pegging back. GAZZA'S DIAMOND (7) ran on late here 3 weeks ago and will be close to her peak fitness third up. She has the benefit of a 3kg claim and has each-way claims again. ROSE NOIR (9) only battled last time out at Doomben, but that was in stronger company. She has the blinkers on for the first time, and with the pole position, along with a 2kg claim, she could take this out. BOONAH FLASHER (6) was an overdue maiden winner here 5 weeks ago, but did it stylishly by 3 lengths. She has the scope to continue to improve and can double the dose. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rose Noir each-way.
