No recognised leader lining up so expect a moderate tempo. GOOD GIRL POLLY (8) did not enjoy the kickback off the track here last time out and only battled home to finish sixth. She cops a wide gate here but will be out of trouble. She has the blinkers on for the first time, and is more than capable of taking this out. SAMURAI WARRIOR (2) is a former West Australian-trained gelding who was well found in the market in both of his starts in the West. He is resuming from a long spell but will be a lot stronger and was fourth in a recent Warwick trial. The market will be your best guide. ALLEZBEC (7) ended her last campaign with a second at Ipswich. She has since joined the Mark Currie stable and has looked in good condition at a couple of recent quiet trials. Watch closely. DUKE OF LANCASTER (3) will be peaking third up and benefits from a 3kg claim. A wet track would help her, and she is poised to put her best hoof forward. DEL TITO (1) cops a wide draw after battling home at the Gold Coast 2 weeks ago. Stick with him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Good Girl Polly each way.
