Plenty of pace on show, headed by Francilien, Scars Of War and Stormy Sunday. FROZEN FANTASY (1) won a good race despite the saddle reported to have slipped last time. She showed pace and kept finding to hold all challengers at bay. She is the best-weighted runner in this contest and can follow up with another victory. POINTER (2) stayed on well when third over 1400m on the Standside course last time. It must be noted that the winner of that race has come out and won again since. Merits healthy respect. FRANCILIEN (3) was outrun late when facing male company in her last start over 1160m on the Standside course. Her best form has come under Gavin Lerena. She jumps from pole position and can't be ignored. CALANTHA (4) is better than her last start run over 1160m would suggest. Her form prior to that outing was consistent. With a bit of luck in the running can finish in the placings.
