The pace looks strong from the outset.
POWERSTONE (4) led and was too good over 1000m at Gunnedah in a BM50 two runs ago. Went back from a wide gate and did nothing last start at Wellington, again at 1000m. Expect they might learn from that and press forward today. Can turn things around. GYPSY POWER (1) is back after a five-month spell. Ran some nice races when last in work, including a win at BM58 level over 1000m at Dubbo. Couldn't have drawn better and should give a tremendous sight. SUPER HOT (8) has been ordinary at all three runs this prep. Placed five from nine at this journey and should be fit now. Can make amends. DOZEN KILPATRICK (6) has recorded three of his four wins over today's trip. Worth including on a seven-day turnaround. The lightly raced CABRAL (3) is one to keep safe fresh from an eight-week lay-off. SUGGESTED PLAY: Powerstone can bounce back and win.
