GOING: G

Imparja Television Handicap 1600m

Track: Good   Clear (Max: 26)   Rail: True.

Daniher and Hollerbyebaby have the pace to take up the running at a solid tempo. DANIHER (2) is heading the right way with his form and was runner-up here 4 weeks ago over a mile. He is peaking at the right time and has senior hoop Brendan Newport replacing an apprentice this time. A good draw will make him the one to beat in this. GRINZINGER BISHOP (4) won his track debut here in his penultimate start before being beaten by a short-head as favourite here 2 weeks ago in a tougher grade. He sees out a mile better than most in this and should be hard to hold out again. Follow your money. TAIPAN TOMMY (7) had no luck at all in a very strong field here last week and only battled home into sixth place. He was back in winning form before that, and with the aid of a 2kg claim, he will carry 4.5kg less than last time. Stick with him. PRINCESS PANCAKES (5) has needed both of her runs back from a spell and is now ready to put her best hoof forward. Each way value. EQUAL BALANCE (1) is a durable veteran who will strip fitter second up. Include in all multiples to be safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Taipan Tommy each way.
