ZORBRIST (3) was less than a length from the winner when finishing fourth at Ascot 17 days ago. He will find this company more to his liking, and with a run under his belt, he is the one to beat in this. SUGARED UP (5) was runner-up at Pingrup 2 weeks ago over 1160m. She will be suited by the small field and can figure in the top 3 again. QUEEN OF CHAOS (4) showed pace to lead at Esperance last time out. She fought on gamely to finish second that day, and another honest effort is expected. MANGANUI (1) fought on to finish fourth in the same race as the third pick last time out. He has been in the money in 3 of his 6 starts on this course, and he should be thereabouts again. COULDABEENAHANDBAG (6) is on the improve and will be peaking third up. The extra furlong is no problem, and she is ready to put her best hoof forward in this. BEAUSMEBUBBA (2) will be suited by the small field but needs to improve further before recommending.
