Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Barani. THE FINAL WORD (2) returned from Hong Kong and had a long spell before winning a Seymour jumpout in January. He was transferred to the local Dick Leech stable after his jumpout win and cruised home to an easy win fresh up on this track by well over 2 lengths. He is making up for lost time and can win again. MR JONES (4) needed his first couple of starts back from a spell before putting it all together and winning by a length here last week. He is meeting a similar lineup, and can repeat the dose. READ (5) has been heading the right way in his last couple of starts here after being beaten as a favourite in his first local run. A wide draw is no help, but with the right run, he can figure in the top 3. FAITHFUL CHAMPION (1) has had to work hard outside the leader in his last 2 starts and has battled on bravely to finish in the money. He will be hoping to secure a softer trip this time, and another honest effort is on the cards. BARANI (7) will be peaking third up. Each way. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Final Word to win.
