Malty Flavor is likely to roll to the lead and set a decent tempo. DANON CIMA (1) was handy on straightening and went on to finish second last start over 2000m at Tokyo, beaten 1.3 lengths when resuming. Looks well placed so expect another forward display. G T DARLING (7) got off the mark when resuming from a spell over 2400m at this track last start, scoring by 2.5 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. No reason he cannot get the job done again. LIGARE (2) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was beaten 7 lengths into fifth over 2000m at Nakayama. Goes up a rung or two but he is fitter and capable of running a bold race. REALIZE AURUM (8) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on 18 January, finishing fifth and beaten 4 lengths over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with two minor placings. One to consider.
